tis the season to be thankful

been archiving my late 08 entries & rereading the posts that i've written a year ago and surprisingly, the recurring theme was: faith. its kinda funny when you reread wat you once wrote and then something inside of u said 'did i really write that?' well, i certainly did. hah

well its crazy how many times the word faith pops up & the constant reminder that his grace is sufficient for me 2cor12:9 - this was the verse that held me together back then.

tmr marks 4 weeks since i last stepped into csc/attended a prayer meet.
i am not complaining, well maybe i am, nah i am not, ok i am...
i am missin my community that i am serving in, been taking a more passive role nowadays given the school & work commitments. am finding that with these 4 wks away from amp, feel like am losin touch with wads happening...and then a thought struck me...

what if i didnt have a community to serve in?
what would i be like now?

as i reflected upon these, these 4 wks made me realise what life without a community would be like, and how hard it is to go through life alone without a community, all by yourself, attending weekly mass + trying to pray + surviving the daily stresses of work (ok i am exaggerating here!! :p)...

been reflecting n all, and tis is the season to equipp myself, to plant the seeds so that in time to come, God could use it to sow it elsewhere... + that i am really thankful for this community that i am in! :)
we are all at different seasons of our lives, for me, tis the season to sit back (a lil while more!), take in all thats happening and equipp myself for use later! tis is the season to be thankful!

praise you God for creating & being at the centre of this universe. cant imagine how life would be w.o you. father, i pray at tis season of my life, that i will listen more than i speak, that i may learn to put u at the centre of my life, daily. my heart is a malleable piece of clay, mould it like how you want it to be. amen

ps68:19 blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation
