timely reminder

these words never rang louder than it today...thank u for placing all these things in my heart today.

what is serving you without love, what is reading the word without wanting to know you. what are we without you as our focus. what will our purpose be if we do not seek you. we will just be nothing. `b

father god, what are we without you? who are we that you have called us? how can we ever repay all that been done for us. without you, we are nothing. without you, we are merely going through the notions. without you, we cease to be who we are called to be. thank you for calling us to be your sons and daughters, for passing on this inheritance to us, for breathing your divine breathe of life into our earthly bodies, for giving us hearts that beat every moment of every day, for seeing us at our worst yet believing that something more divine reigns deep within, for seeing us at our worst and still loving us still. god, today i pray for each of the worship teamies, that you cause us to be people of strength to bear the burdens of the weak, expand our vision of what you can do through us to the people around us, in the situations that we are in. let encouragement be on our lips always, increase our time of intimacy with you, we wanna know you as moses did, to talk to you as our bff, to come to you first in all things. spirit, i pray for a spirit of humility and openess to be ever present in this team, that we hear your daily promptings, lead us to him. jesus, at times where we are overwhelmed with our guilt, overwhelm us once again with the love you poured out at the cross. we place our focus on you. amen.

"Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME." For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Romans 15: 1-6
