thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving everyone! been a long day at work-vacation, cosying up here & reflecting on the comfy sofa about how this year has been, there's so much to be thankful for... i could come up with an never-ending list of stuff to be thankful about but i wanna narrow it down to just the top five [since i'm in the states & in true american fashion, here's presenting my thanksgivings for year 2009]...

1) God - i know we always thank God at the end of everything, but for once, i wanna put Him first. i thank Him first because He is the reason for my everything... tis year been a rollercoaster adventure for a start, and i've found that if you decide to let Him speak & be very direct with you, He will (you can trust me on that!)... for the answering of many prayers over the years that are coming into fruition... for revealing a part of himself on some far side of the moon that i never knew existed...

2) my parents - for getting closer to my daddy & mommy, to knowing them on a more personal level, knowing what makes them tick, i never knew how hard it is to be a parent and this makes me wanna be more of a better daughter that i can possibly be...

3) friends - my lovely & most generous friends that i've ever known and encountered, in my walk of life, some of whom have grown very close to my heart... thanks for lending me your ears (& vice versa!)... for the many sharings that has been made on the breakwaters of east coast to hovering at 50m above sea level @henderson waves to just a simple but heartfelt sharing over a meal/walk...

4) revelations about self - i think its always hard to say this, but God revealed some part of myself to myself that i need to start working on... to be more selfless, to love more deeply...

5) states trip - ny was a prayer, what more can i say? thankew Jesus

five thankfuls for the year, maybe ill think of more and post it up soon...
