happy holidays everyone! i pray you had a good start to your new year! the past few weeks have been crazy for me, as you can tell from my previous post but i am thankful for this long weekend, slowing things down a notch and spending some time with my family and close friends.
the past year has been rather an adventure. personally i've seen so many blessings poured out & prayers come to pass and witnessing how God works in the lives of my friends around me. its like when you truly surrender & open your hearts to God, you will never be let down to what He is bringing you through. you just gotta trust the shepherd and He will make all things work out for good. if you are faithful with the lil things, you will get more. its like God wants to spoil us without spoiling us if u know what i mean. :)
so, u are thinking, the start of a new year signals new resolutions right? i've had my fair share of resolution making and most of the time, it never really worked out... but this time, i thought maybe if i made it before the blessed sacrament, it should work out betta rite? hahaha, that's wishful thinking on my part...
here's sharing some of my resolutions (that i hope will come to pass!)
to honour God in ALL things
its really easy to say it but another thing altogether to do it.
to honour Him not just in the big decisions of my life but also consciously seeking to honour Him in the small things as well.
to love my parents even more
the past year has just shown me how truly awesome my parents are, they do so much without complaining! i think our parents are one of God's greatest gift to us and once we learn to see that, can we truly be thankful & appreciative of them.
okie, gotta run! will pick up here on mon. have a great weekend and once again blessed new year everyone! i pray God's abundant blessings on you and your family!
p.s. thinking about it, we didn't manage to get some diving in last year. fingers crossed that this year, we'll get to go somewhere with clear blue waters and bum by the beach.
